CRAFT off the Lot - Nov 11th-15th 2009

CRAFT off the Lot is an artisan represented exhibition bringing Canada's best and brightest talents for everyone to experience. Join us for a weekend of amazing one of a kind & hand crafted works. Whether you are shopping for yourself or a friend or just wish to see what Canadian design has to offer, CRAFT off the Lot is a great way to spend an afternoon.

This unique exhibition venue (the vacant Chrysler Dealership) on King St. West is surrounded by King West Village, The Queen West Art District and Liberty Village.

This October, CatchFrames will be presenting a new collection at this years Fall edition of Stylists Own's, so SAVE THE DATES!!!!!

Stylist`s Own is a showcase of one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces. The event is held in an unusual or little-known business or public space in Montreal, for this edition the location will be announced soon.

CatchFrames are in a new Boutique!

CatchFrames are now available in the Eastern Townships in Quebec! I found this gorgeous little boutique called Mademoiselle Rose located at 13 Lakeside, in Knowlton, Quebec which carries mainly hand made, unique designer jewelry/ clothing and housewares, and now CatchFrames! So if you either live in the area or are lucky enough to visit this beautiful little town, check out this store it's a real gem!

Pièces d'art qui joignent le beau au fonctionnel, ces tableaux signés CatchFrames organisent le coffre à bijoux. Hilary Thomson, la créatrice, a d'abord mis la main sur de vieux cadres. Cherchant à les intégrer à son décor, elle leur a finalement trouvé une vocation: organiser ces colliers qui traînent, accrochés au miroir. Du coup, elle personnalisait sa déco. Et ce qui a fait que cet élan de créativité s'est rapidement transformé en occasion d'affaires, c'est que Hilary avait plus d'un cadre à retaper et que l'engouement face à la pièce fut révélateur de succès. Voilà maintenant deux ans que CatchFrames est un passe-temps pour cette professionnelle de la musique et passionnée des arts. Les pièces uniques sont peintes, cousues et teintes à la main et sont offertes avec ces petites épingles qui s'accrochent si bien. www.catchframes.etsy.com
